Paletta is looking for a thoughtful and detail-oriented interior designer to collaborate with us on project-based work in Cairo, Egypt.
We create warm, character-rich spaces with a focus on material, atmosphere, function, and thoughtful design. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for interiors, an appreciation for natural and reclaimed materials, and the ability to shape spaces that feel intentional, lived-in, and beautifully resolved.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who has:
- Strong interior design experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- A refined sense of space, proportion, color, texture, and material
- Ability to develop thoughtful design concepts for residential, commercial, or hospitality spaces
- Comfort working with reclaimed wood, vintage pieces, handmade objects, or natural materials
- Ability to create moodboards, layouts, material palettes, sketches, or presentation decks
- Understanding of furniture, lighting, styling, and spatial flow
- A collaborative approach when working with clients, makers, carpenters, and other creatives
- Comfort working on a project-by-project basis
Project location
Projects are based in Cairo, Egypt. Applicants should be based in Cairo or able to work on projects there as needed.
Type of work
Projects may include interior concepts, space planning, furniture and material selections, styling, custom furniture direction, residential interiors, boutique commercial spaces, or design-forward installations. Scope, timeline, deliverables, and compensation will be discussed per project.
